There's a meditative space in the natural environment; value in the detail, a wealth of repetitive pattern, geometric shape and unexpected colour to be discovered. I grew up in wildflower country and have early memories of being astounded at the variety and the intricacies of nature's design. I continue to be awestruck today, my work explores these forms and tones whilst working with a personal narrative and visual language. I hope to inspire the viewer to look closer at the myriad of wonder that surrounds them.
