Black Kangaroo Paw

The Macropidia fulignosa is the black and green variant of the famous kangaroo paw. This particular colourway is extremely rare, not just for kangaroo paws but for all Australian flora. Black kangaroo paw grows in the wild, slightly inland along the western coast of Western Australia between Perth and Geraldton. The Noongar word for the black kangaroo paw is Nollamara.

Reproduction prints - open editions
Reproduction prints have been printed from a scan an Original Screen Prints. They have been edited to ensure best colour reproduction for digital print and will have larger smudges or flaws removed. They are printed locally in Western Australia on Ilford Textured Cotton Rag paper with quality archival inks. The paper weight is heavy at 310gsm. Reproduction prints come ink stamped on the back with an authenticity stamp. The prints are also signed on the back of the print. Every print comes with an additional certificate of authenticity that details the habitat, uses and history of the species featured.
